Setup after first launch of AWS instance

Linux.

First, UPDATE
sudo yum update

Next, install Apache
sudo yum install httpd

Then start Apache + Apache auto-start on next startup
sudo service httpd start
sudo chkconfig httpd on

Next, install MySQL
sudo yum install mysql-server

Next, start MySQL
sudo /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start

Next, php installation
sudo yum install php5 php-pear php5-dev php5-mysql (for some reason php-mbstring seems to be unnecessary on Linux?)

Then restart Apache
sudo /etc/init.d/httpd restart
